Random : NO-BUYING-OF-MAKEUP month!

So, I have declared that August is my "NO BUYING OF MAKEUP" month. It isn't easy! I swear! i actually went to the mall last Thursday, and I succeeded! [ bwahaha!! ]  I was sooo so tempted to buy the ELF lip stains, and some other ELF stuffs. And then I walked around Watsons for like an hour debating if I should or shouldn't buy the stuffs I picked up.And I ended up returning all of them and walking out of the store empty handed. I cannot believe it myself! HA HA! But I did it! WOOT! *good job, Michelle!*

It was super hard, but I have to stick to what I said. I won't buy any makeup this month. PERIOD! 

I have a few reasons why. 

1. I need and WANT to save up to invest in some "more" effective products. It means I would love to buy me some GOOD quality makeup products that will really satisfy my skin's needs. 

2. I need to save so that I can buy the things i want to try, and the things I want to own for so long now. 

3. I have quite a few products here that I need to use before it expires! :P 

4. I really want to learn to become a smart buyer, cause being an impulsive buyer isn't good for your wallet. 

I can do this! I believe I can! :) 

I actually got the idea from Miss Ina of iambabypanda.

I saw her on one of her tweets and I thought that it's such a great idea! :)

RANDOM: 5 Random Facts Tag

HI HI HI!!! :) I am so lazy to post something "makeup" related today, so I have decided to do another tag! WOOT! Who's excited?! hehe I AM! So, let's start!!! :) 

I saw this tag on you tube, so I figured " Why not write a post on it?!" 

And that is what I am doing now. :P So, in this tag I should share with you guys 5 Random Facts about myself and then tag 5 friends. Let's start! 

1. I have an EXTREME fear of mice/rats. 

I actually consider myself as "musophobic." And btw, I made the picture small because it's freakin me out! AH! It is giving me goosebumps! 

It really is crazy! We have quite a few little "friends" here in our house and every time I FEEL like there's one near me. I freak out! It's crazy. I am not scared of cockroaches or spiders. I can kill and pick up a cockroach but these, NO WAY! I also don't like hamsters or rabbits or even kittens. Because they look like rats and I don't know. :P 

2. I love cooking!

I am such a foodie! And I love cooking. :) It relaxes me and it just gives me joy. 

I don't know a lot yet, though. And I am not that good yet. But I just like it. And the most rewarding part is hearing people say how good it was. I love that feeling! 

I can cook a few Filipino dishes, like adobo and a few more. I can cook carbonora, it's like my "specialty." I can cook lasagna, sweet spaghetti and a few more. :) 

3. I eat ALMOST everything BUT not sushi. 

I know a lot of you loves it. But I don't. I don't really know why, but I don't like the taste of it. I have tried it a million times, but really, I can't eat it. I want to still try though. But I don't know. hehe. Sushi isn't for me.  

I also don't eat bell pepper. I remove it from my pizza and I don't like it. The smell of it gives me a headache.

4. I love dipping my BREAD in my COKE. 

My cousins say that it's weird. Is it?! 

For me it's not. hehe I love it! I love the taste of my bread "melting" because of the coke. AH! YUMMY! 

5. I am such a "cry baby" 

I am super sensitive. I cry a lot! Especially when I was in high school. That's why I was tagged as the "best actress." hehe But now, not that much anymore. :P hehe. 

I am so sensitive that I cry when I see sad pictures or those small things. 

I cry whenever I watch "One More Chance" and "A Walk To Remember." 

Even though I have watched those 2 movies a million gazillion times, I still cry.

Random: Recall of July 2012 Posts

 WARNING: PHOTO HEAVY AND SUPER LONG POST :P 

Hi guys! :) Today, here in the Philippines, it is raining non stop! And as a lot of you already know, there's something about the rain that I am obsessed with. The raindrops are music to my ears. I really love it. But what I don't like about it is that, it makes me feel sleepy! I am sooo lazy and super sleepy the whole day.

Anyways, 2 more days til August. And I cannot believe it. I think it's a joke! :D It's crazy! After August, it's September again. WOAH! UNBELIEVABLE! I am not exaggerating or whatever.hehe :D I really cannot believe it. 

SOOO YEAH! Enough of the rambling. :P

So, this month. My goal was to AT LEAST have 20 posts. And I am super happy to reach my goal. I even went beyond that, and it really makes me happy! :)

RANDOM: Tag 17 Questions!

Yeah yeah, I KNOW! Another tag post. hehe. I hope you guys aren't mad at me for this. :P I just find it super fun to answer cute random questions. :) It's like getting to know me in a more personal level. Sooooo, let's get started! :)

Questions!

1. How did you get your youtube user BLOG name?
* I actually had a really hard time thinking about a good and appealing name. But from the very start I knew that I wanted the word "GLAMOROUS" to be in it. So yeah. :D

2. If you could change your name to anything, what would it be and why?

* OH! If I could, and I'm still a girl, I would love to have Cass as my name. :) Ever since I was in high school, I love the name Cass or Cassandra. Its so classy, i think. hehe :D And if ever I am a boy, I would love the name Adam.  Its a super handsome name. :)


3. If you could go back in time and give your younger self advice, what would it be and why?

* Think positive! You'll see life in a more beautiful way, and you'll enjoy it more. Don't think of the things other people say. Just be yourself! :) When I was younger, I always look at the negative side of every situation. I push people away and think less of myself. But I have learned that life is so much easier the other way around. :) 

4. How old were you when you first learned to blow a bubblegum bubble?

* FACT: I don't like bubble gum/chewing gum or whatever you want to call it. :D I hate it! I don't chew or eat them. So, I don't know how to blow. :D 

5. What did you want to be when you were little?
* OH! hehe. I wanted to be a cashier! I love the cash register! The clicking sound and the..everything sounded so appealing to me! hehe And then I wanted to become a teacher, because all the teachers I know get lots of gifts during Christmas. :D hehe

6. What do you order at starbucks?


* CARAMEL FRAP!!!! I love that stuff! I try different flavors every now and then, but nothing beats the caramel frappucino. :D

7. What's the hardest you ever laughed?
* I can't even remember the last time. But every time I am with my high school friends...AH! I always laugh like its my last day! :) But that was a long time ago. [ aww.. missed them tuloy. ]

8. If you could play any musical instrument, which would it be and why? 

* DRUMS! I don't know why but I would love to learn how to play the drums. :) 

9. What's your favorite thing to do when your upset?
* EAT! I know it's bad. But I am a foodie! I love eating! And it relaxes me, and makes me feel better when I eat. Isn't it obvious?! :D hehe

10. What's your favorite movie?

* Local?! ONE MORE CHANCE. I have watched that movie a million times. And I still cry. :P 
Foreign. I love A Walk to Remember. :) 

11. What's one food you can not live without?

* Oh my! This is the hardest question! hehe HMMM... Chocolate, I think. :P

12. What's your favorite dessert?

*Another tough question! hehe. Cake-wise. I love blueberry cheesecake and anything with chocolate. Ice Cream. And a lot more! I have the worst sweet tooth! I cannot live without sweets. 

13. Favorite pizza topping?

* Pepperoni. And anything cheese- y!

 14. Would you rather have the superpower to read minds, or the superpower to be invisible?
* Having the power to read minds is a bit scary. So, I will go with the power to be invisible! :) That sounds so cool! 

15. What did you do for your last birthday?
* I had a few birthday dinners with relatives. And then me and my girl cousins stayed at a condominium place overnight. We swam, we drink a little and just "girls night" :) 

16. If you had one personal "selfish" wish, what would it be and why?

 * Let's all be real here. hehe of course I would love to have millions and billions and trillions of money. :D Or let us make it simplier, I want a money tree! :D 

17. What does OMGHHKP mean to you?
* Hmmm. hehe I will totally just make some ridiculous things up. hehe Oh My Garsh How Hot Ko Po. hahaha. I DONT KNOW! :D

RANDOM: 42 Makeup Questions Tag

HEY! :) I love watching TAG videos on youtube. And earlier, while I was contemplating on the things that I want to write and the reviews I still NEED to do, I thought that it would be fun to do a random TAG post. So, I asked you guys on FB [ and I am still waiting for answers. If you want to suggest anything. GO! :) ] and I also did some research cause I want to do one tonight. Just a random post, a little break from all the more "serious" stuffs. :) 


Anyways, here are the 42 Makeup Questions that I saw.

1. How many times do you wash your face daily?

2-3 times. Most of the time, 2. Morning and evening. 

2. What is your skin type? ( dry, oily or combination )

Oily- Combination, I believe. But more on oily skin. 

3. What is your current facial wash?

Pond's Smooth Pores and Lush Fresh Farmacy

4. Do you exfoliate?

YES. 1-2 times a month or whenever I feel like doing it. :) 

Pag sinisipag. :D 

5. What brand do you use?

NU Skin. 

6. What moisturizer do you use?

Loreal Hydrafesh Anti Shine Moisturizer. LOVE IT! ♥ 

7. Do you have freckles?

NOPE. :D 

8. Do you use eye cream?

YES. 

9. Do you or did you have an acne prone skin?

YES. But it isn't that bad anymore. When I was in high school, it was HORRIBLE. 

10. Did you ever have to use pro active?

No.

11. What foundation do you use? 

As of the moment, I am using my Revlon Colorstay or my 4U2 BB cream. 

12. How about concealer? 

I use the Krave Minerale Correct and Conceal.

13. Do you know your undertone color?

I think so. :D 

14. What do you think of fake lashes?

Gorgeous! But I'm still learning on how to apply it. :) 

15. Did you know you were supposed to change your mascara every month?

YES. I know. BUT :P  .....I don't do it. 

16. What brand of mascara do you use?

Loreal. 

17. Sephora or Mac?

We do not have Sephora here in the Philippines. And I have never tried their products. So i will go with MAC. :)

18.  Do you have a Mac PRO card?

NOPE.

19. What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?

Makeup brushes. Sometime my bare hands. :P 

20. Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes? 

YEP.  NYX Jumbo pencil and Milk or the ELF lid primer

21. For the face?

YES. Loreal Magic Perfecting Base. 

22. What is your favorite eye shadow? color or shade?

Fave eye shadow?! I use a few brands and as of the moment I don't have a favorite.

I am more on the neutral colors like browns. 

23. Do you use pencil or liquid liner?

Pencil. 

24. How often do you poke your eyes with eye line pencil?

Before, when I was just starting I poked my eyes a million times. But now, not anymore. :P 

25. What do you think of pigment eye shadows?

FAB! But they're not for me. I think they're too extravagant.

26. Do you use mineral makeup?

Yes. I have a few. 

27. What is your favorite lipstick?

OH MY! I have a looot! As of the moment, I love the Maybelline Fifth Ave. Fuchsia

28. How about lipgloss?

I am not a lip gloss fan. I don't use lip gloss. 

29. What is your favorite blush to use?

As of now, I am loving my 4U2 Together Double Blush

Nope. But I love shopping online. :)

31. Do you like drugstore makeup?

Yes. Almost everything I own are drugstore brands. 

32. Do you go to Cosmetic Company Outlets?

Nope. But I would love to. I don't know if we have those here. 

33. Did you ever consider taking up makeup classes?

Yes. Someday soon. :) 

34. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

Sometimes. :P 

35. Name a makeup crime that you hate. 

AH! Colorful eye shadow with super duper blush PLUS bold lipstick. :P

For the eyes, neutrals. I can even go without any eye shadow. For the lips, BOLD PINK LIPS! :)

Kim K. I think she is gorgeous! :) 

38. If you could leave the house using just ONE makeup item, what would you use?

Hmmmm. LIPSTICK! ♥ My Maybelline Fifth Ave Fuchsia or NYX Shocking Pink. 

39. Could you leave the house without any makeup on?

Yes. :)

40. Do  you think you look good even without makeup on?

I think I look... OKAY. :D hehe

41. In your opinion what is the BEST makeup line?

BEST?! There are a lot! But if I have to choose one, maybe MAC.

42. What do you think of makeup? 

I think it's awesome. :) It's art. It's passion.
