FAVORITES: September 2012

I missed this! :) So, I am back with my September Favorites! YES! I cannot believe it too. It is already October, oh yeah. It really is insane. The next thing we know, it is already Christmas. [ 83 DAYS TO GO, BTW. :P ]

Anyhoo, the products I will mention are not so new already. :P Some are rediscovered, or already mentioned in my past posts. I don't have tons of products this month, but these are the things I am really loving and using every single day. Here is my August Faves if you want to see it. :) 

1. Krave Minerale's Moisture Souffle [ sample ] 

I got this as a gift from Ate Michelle of Micmic's Corner. And this bad boy smells AH-MAZZZZING! 

I love the smell of it! I love how it makes my face smooth after application. I love it!

2 Nivea Creme

I used to use this as a moisturizer but I stopped using it. Now, I looooove using it as a hand cream cause it makes my hands feel so soft and smooth. 

3. Kleenex Protect Moisturizing Antibacterial Wipes [ Watermelon Scent ] 

This one smells amazing also! It smells like a super sweet watermelon. 

4-5 Zen Zest Eau de Cologne in Blush and Seduce

I tend to switch scents every now and then. And this month I have been loving these 2 babies again.

I love the very subtle and "nice girl" scent of Blush. And the very crispy "seductive" scent of Seduce. 

I really love them both. I use Blush if I want to feel mabait. And Seduce if I am feeling sexy. :P 

6. Fashion21 Loose Powder

I use this to "mattify" my face after putting on my foundation. 

I love that it gives my face a "fresh" and a smooth looking glow. 

7. James Cooper Cream Foundation in CF 03

I still love this foundation every time I need full coverage. 

This is an awesome cream foundation. 

8. ELF Duo [ Bronzer ] 

You guys already know this. I am inlove with this bronzer. I just love it. Enough said. 

9. Avon True Color Blush in Rose Lustre

I have this for a few months already but I really don't use it that much. But this month, I have been loving this blush. I love how pigmented it is. And the shade is just pretty. 

10. Careline Oil Control Blush in Morena Star

I have been using this a lot lately as well. I love using this to contour my face. If I want a very visible contour, I use this. 

11. ELF Eyelid Primer 

I use this every time I put on eyeshadow. It makes the shadow last longer especially when you have a very VERY VERY oily lids like me. :P 

12. BOB Super Curl Mascara

I loooove this! I will review this, soon. PROMISE! 

13. Wet N' Wild Trio in Walking on Eggshells 

I have been very busy and LAZY lately. So every time I have extra time, I will put on eye shadow. And I always find myself grabbing this trio from Wet N' Wild because it is the easiest shadows to work with. 

14. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa

I am running low on this product already. But I love using this as a tint. I will use this just to add a little color on my lips.   I just love how it glides on smoothly on your lips.

15. Wet N' Wild Megalast Lip color in Sugar Plum Fairy

I am inlove with this baby! It is perfect for Fall! 

Just like what I have mentioned, I am very lazy lately. And this color is PERFECT for lazy days! 

16 Carmex Lip Balm

No doubt. I still am INLOVE with this! 

FAVORITE MOVIE/ TV SERIES

I don't have a new favorite movie/series this month but I am still loving Gossip Girl.

It is still on repeat EVERY night. I am not even kidding. I am obsessed! 

And I cannot wait for Season 6!!! I am such a fan of this series, really. :P

FAVORITE SONG

Maroon 5 's Wipe your Eyes

AH! I am a fan of this band ever since This Love. I love Adam and the band. I am not obsessed but I like a lot of their songs. I love Sunday Morning, She will be Loved and more. And this one, my goodness! I have been listening to this every single day. :P  I love the lyrics and melody, well the song itself.

I still love to watch Miss Emily because her videos are really informative! It really shows how much time and effort she spend to have something worth watching and worth reading.  She is also super nice! I was super happy when she replied to my tweet. It made my day! ♥

And of course, Judy. I love her videos as well because it is also very informative. I also love watching her daily vlogs. 

I need to watch the two them every day and then I am done! :) 

FAVORITE BLOGGER

Miss Aya of CodenameAya

I love how informative her blog is also. She is also a super sweet and nice girl. :) 

She blogs about makeup, nails and a lot more. 

I also think she is pretty. And her skin, I am jealous! It looks super flawless. LOVE IT! 

FAVORITE SNACK

This past month, I always crave for cookies. Chocolate cookies in particular. 

I don't know what it is but I have been eating cookies a lot lately.

Random : All about my Lipsticks [ Lipstick collection, Favorite lipstick and Lipstick Tag ]

As you guys already know, I am a huge lipstick fan! At first, it wasn't my thing. I was okay with a powder and blush, but then I discovered lipsticks. And holy macaroni!! I think it is one of the most beautiful thing ever created! They make me happy. Every time I feel down, I put them all out and swatch them all over and over again. ( LOL. Weird?! ) I don't really understand why, but it makes me feel better. Being an "impulsive" buyer, I was more on the quantity than the quality. But I have a learned a lot that's why I am planning on investing on products with better quality ( even if it's expensive. YES! ) 

A month ago, I asked on FB if you guys recommend a fun tag that I should do. And Miss Nicole Paler of Axons and Dendrites recommended me this tag that she saw on KIKAYSIMARIA's blog. I think it's really a fun tag, and it's so me! So, I am doing it now! ♥

As of the moment, I have 34 lipsticks/lip tints on hand. I haven't used all of them, well 80 percent of them. NOT EVEN ONCE! Bad?! I know! And I also am aware that a lot of you or other bloggers have more lipsticks than I do, and they have better quality ones. But I just want to share with you guys what I have for more than a year of collecting makeup. :)

TAG QUESTIONS:

1. When you were a child, did you use your mother's lipsticks?

My mom do not use any makeup at all. But my aunts told me that when I was a kid I will always, ALWAYS raid their bags and get their lipsticks. 

2. How old were you when you bought your first lipstick?

I thik I was 16 or 17. It all started when EB had their Php99.00 sale on their matte lipsticks. :P 

 

3. Pink or red lipstick?

Pink. BRIGHT PINK!

4. The most expensive lipstick you have ever bought?    

As of the moment, i think it's the Revlon Matte Lipstick. It cost me Php 525.oo or something.

5.  And the cheapest?

The wet n' wild that I got for 88 or 99 pesos for 2. I got it from Kering-keri store, just for the sake of buying it. :P 

FYI: 

They are dark brown colors! :P 

6. What's the most bizarre thing you have ever done with a lipstick?

Hmm.. NONE, I think. :P I used some to practice my signature. Is that counted?!

7. If you had to recommend a lipstick, which brand would you recommend and why? 

Wide range of colors?! 

NYX Round Lipsticks! They have tons. 

But if you want to invest on some higher end products, MAC. :) 

Formulation?

I love Maybelline ColorSensational's formulation. And NYX's Matte Lipstick also. 

Long Wearing?

Loreal Infallible! And Maybelline ColorSensational is a bit long wearing too. 

8. Favorite PINK lipstick.

Maybelline Fifth Ave. Fuchsia and NYX Matte in Shocking Pink. 

9. Favorite NUDE. 

Revlon in Mauve it Over and EB's Mauvey.

10. Favorite RED.

EB Love that Red. 

11. Favorite unusual shade. 

Is a mocha-ish shade unusual?! EB Mirrored Mocha then.
