I was supposed to post a makeup look for our month long collaboration.But a few changes happened so, we'll just chillax for tonight. :) And while chillaxing, I still want to post something up so I google random tag questions to answer. And I found this one right HERE. So, that's what I will do! :)

1. Thing you cannot leave the house without?

Except the necessities, like wallet and so on. I cannot leave the house without a pack of tissue. That's the main thing! I cannot! I just can't. :P [ Blogged about it HERE ]
 

2. Favorite brand of makeup?

I love ELF. Their products are amazing and very affordable. I also love MAC, but that's a bit expensive. 

3. Favorite flower?

I like roses. But aren't tulips gorgeous?! They are so pretty! 

I love tulips.

4. Favorite clothing store?

I like to shop at Forever21. I also love to shop at Bayo. And of course, the Department Store. :) 

5. Favorite perfume ?

I don't really like perfume. Colognes are better and less expensive. 

But I do love Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea perfume and my Escada Marine Groove. 

6. Heels or flats?

FLATS. I buy some heels but I wear them like, once a year. :P 

7. Do you make good grades?

Now, OK grades. But when I was in grade school and high school, yes good grades!

8. Favorite colors?

YELLOW! I also love the basics, black and white.

9. Do you drink energy drinks?

NOPE.

10. Do you drink juice?

YES. I love Four Seasons juice. 

11. Do you like swimming?

Yes. But I don't know how to swim :P 

12. Do you eat fries with a fork?

No. Well, sometimes. Whenever we eat fries at restaurants, I do. Pasosyal. :P 

13. Favorite moisturizer?

Loreal Hydrafresh. 

14. Do you want to get married later on in life?

Yes. It's my dream. [ Blogged about it HERE ] 

15. Do you get mad easily?

Sometimes. Depend on the person. :P hahaha

16. Are you into ghost hunting?

NOOOO!!!!

17. Any phobias?

Yes! Fear of heights and rats. I want to conquer my fear of heights but not the latter. :P

18. Do you bite your nails?

When I was younger, YES. Now, no. 

19. Have you ever had a near death experience?

Yes. I had a seizure when I was about to undergo an ultrasound. The doctor said that why were waking me up but it lasted a few seconds. And they were scared cause a seizure is something serious. 

20. Do you drink coffee?

OH YES!!! :)  I loooooooooove coffee!

Random: Our Wensha Spa Experience.

Hi! I have been a bit busy these past few days. But today, I was busy...relaxing! :) We made the best out of this holiday and chose to relax and pamper ourselves a bit. 

I have been meaning to spend a whole day just relaxing for a long time now. I have been wanting to go to a SPA session but the budget won't allow me. But today my dad gave me and my mom some extra budget to relax. :) So, we went to one of the most famous spa here in the Metro. The Wensha Spa Center. 

" Wensha Spa is the most large spa company in Philippines, the best services of leisure places. Let you and your family every day can very easily leisure service center. "

We went to their Pasay Branch located at the old Boom na Boom lot, across World Trade Center. 

We arrived their at 10:30 am and went out at 4 pm.

Paid Php 780.00 for a whole body massage inclusive of unlimited use of SAUNA, JACUZZI and EAT ALL YOU CAN BUFFET and SHABU SHABU. You can stay there for a max. of 8 hours. They are open 24/7.

I will share with you how it went and the review after. :)

Once you enter the spa center, there's a reception area in front. 

You have to pay the bill before you can enter. At the left side area, there's the BOYS section. And at the right side is the area for the GIRLS. 

They will give you this bracelet that will serve as your key to the locker assigned to you.

And then before you enter, you will need to surrender your shoes and change to a pair of slippers like this one. I chose yellow, for obvious reasons. :D 

Then once you enter the locker room, there's a girl who will hand you a robe with a pair of shorts and a towel. 

[ PICTURE TAKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE LOCKER ROOM, JACUZZI, SAUNA and MASSAGE AREA.  ] 

If you are not open minded, you might be surprise on what you will see. 

You can only change or take your clothes off, inside the locker room. If you are going to use the sauna and jacuzzi, you will have to remove EVERYTHING. As in ALL OUT!! 

OH yeah! You heard it right! hehe. 

You're not allowed to the robe to the jacuzzi/sauna area. You can wear a towel but not in the jacuzzi. You have to be totally naked! 

When we got there, there's like 2 or 3 other girls in the jacuzzi. So, we just went ahead and go in while it isn't crowded yet.  Before that we took a quick shower. It is also located at the jacuzzi area. Don't worry! There are doors, GLASS doors. :D 

After that we tried out the sauna. I personally can't stay inside super long because it is quite hard to breathe inside. And it is really hot!

Then, we changed into our robes and tried out the buffet. 

They also offer Shabu- shabu.

And then we stayed there for a bit after we ate. Then we went to the massage area. 
[ Again, pictures are not allowed. ] 

After an hour of massage, we rested for about 1 and half hour before we went to take a shower and eat again. :) We ate again before we check out. So, we checked out at like 4 pm.

BUFFET AND SHABU SHABU. 

I think I will give it a 3 over 5. When we ate at like 11: 30, the first time we ate. I was really disappointed. The food doesn't taste good. And it looks like it is only a left over from the other night. But the second time, there are better dishes than the first batch. You can't expect too much from it, I guess. There are 7-8 dishes available. Unlimited Ice Cream and Juice. Unlimited Shabu Shabu also. The taste, some tastes BLEGH but some are okay. But it is very clean in the dining area, and it is very cozy. There's also a smoking area so it's good for us, non-smokers.

SAUNA/JACUZZI/SHOWER/LOCKER ROOM

These places can be a bit crowded. But it is clean, in fairness. The sauna is super hot. The Jacuzzi is hot enough and there's a body wash and shampoo available in all cubicles. I give it 4 over 5 cause I think they can still improve it there. The locker room especially can be very crowded, so maybe they should designate a place where people can actually change clothes. All in all, it is good! 

MASSAGE

This is my second time to get a massage. I cannot say it's the best, but it's good! The therapists are friendly. They will ask you on how you like it and all those stuffs. I am awake the whole time but I was so relaxed. It was good! It's a 4 over 5 for me. After the massage, you kinda is obliged to give a tip. They will hand a paper and ask you to sign it and put how much tip you will give once you check out. 

Overall, I love it! For the price it is amazing! Php 780.00 [ roughly $20 ]  for all those, worth it!  I think it is cheap but the service is good. We will definitely go back! 

Will I Recommend?!

YES! DEFINITELY! If you want a time to relax and all those, you should definitely check Wensha out. It is a bit awkward at first, but I think you'll get used to it. We asked the therapists and they said, people of all ages go there. 3-5 years old are the youngest, and the elderly can also go there. :)

Random : Mini Makeover.

Hi! Happy Saturday! I am still a little bit sick. But I just want to share with you guys a mini makeover I did to my sister. :)

She's my younger sister and she is currently a Grade 7 student.

She don't CANNOT use any makeup yet. So, every time I am bored, I play with her. :D

For the eyes. 

I used my NYX JEP in Milk as a base and then my Fashion 21 Color Set.

I line her eyes with my Nichido Kohl Pencil in Onyx. and used the mascara I got from Taiwan.

For the eye brows.

She still has this "young virgin" brows. So, I just created a imaginary shape for it using my In2it Eyebrow Color. And again, my NYX JEP in Milk for a little bit of highlight on her brow bone area.

No mascara yet.

Her lashes is naturally thick and long, better than mine. BOO! 

 I only used a gold color and some browns. I went for the neutral look cause I don't want to overwhelm her or whatever. She said she wanted a "NUDE" look. :)

For the Face. 

I used the 4U2 BB Cream and set it with the 4U2 BB Powder. 

I used Avon True Color blush in Rose Lustre for the cheeks. And contoured her face and nose a little bit with my ELF Bronzer. 

And for her lips, I used a mauve-ish brown lip pencil from Ever Bilena. 

[ I don't know what shade. ]

And used NYX RLS in Hermes. 

So, that's the final look. :) 

I liked it and she did also. I am not really good in applying makeup on other people. Especially when it comes to eye makeup. But practice makes perfect, right?! :)

Random: I got bitten by the blog bug.

I got this small recognition from Miss Nicole of Axons and Dendrites a few weeks ago. And I was so touched that someone appreciates what I am doing. So, first and foremost I want to say THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart.  ♥ I forgot to do a post about it that's why I am doing it just now. I'm sorry it took me awhile. :) And hey, you also deserve this award!

Her main goal on why she did this recognition thing is because she wanted to promote a close knit community of bloggers and readers around the world. And I strongly believe in that. 

In this community we should help each other out. Those old bloggers / bloggers with more experience should help and guide the new ones.  Not because they already have a "name" or reputation, doesn't mean that they are better than every body else already. We should all remember that WE all started from scratch. So, let us help each other and through these recognition or awards thing. I hope we could all have a better and closer blogging community. :)

When and Why did you start blogging?

* I started blogging last June, this year. My first post was dated, June 4, 2012. 

Why?! I really wanted to start blogging ever since I was in high school. I shared my thoughts through multiply back then. Last year, I started learning about makeups. I loved watching youtube videos and wanted to try that out. But I am too shy for that. :D hehe So, I thought about blogging and starting my own "journey" on exploring and learning more about beauty stuffs. I want to meet new friends and share what I know.  I tried it out, and loved it ever since! 

What do you love to blog about and why do you like it?

I love blogging about beauty stuffs. Reviews, Tips and anything about it. I also love to blog about anything. My life, the pains and just anything. I like it because I get to share what I know to other people. I inspire and help other girls. I like that a lot! 

How did you get your blog name?

 I already answered this on my 17 questions tag. But to explain it a bit more. I really don't know how I came up with it. hehe. It was really random. I actually tried a few names but I thought the names aren't catchy enough. I knew from the very start that GLAM or GLAMOROUS should be in it though. :)

What do you think is your best post yet?

 OH this is a hard one. So far, I already have 64 posts since the day I started. I think the MOST helpful post that I did was the " How to: Sanitize your Makeup." For me it was the most helpful cause not a lot of people are aware that it is possible. So yeah. :D

For the BEST one. I think I would go for my first "Heart to Heart" talk. This one isn't related to makeup or anything, but I think this post made a closer bond between me and my readers. I opened my heart to this post. And I love how my new friends are so appreciative and supportive about it. 

What is your inspiration for blogging at present?

My inspiration are my readers. I swear! I can't get enough of the comments, questions or suggestions. I feel so happy and fulfilled every time people say good things about my blog or my posts. I love it when people appreciates what I do.

Pillow Time : Insecurities

HEY HEY! :) Last Friday I wasn't able to write a pillow time post. But now, it's back! And today I have decided to talk about "INSECURITIES."[ obviously cause that's the title. :P ] 

Insecurity = Self- Doubt.

I think all of us have insecurities, in one way or another. I myself have TONS on them.

I am not the normal, petite Filipina girl. I have a bigger built. I am over weight. 

I do not have a perfect skin. I do have a lot of crazy things on my skin. I have scars, acne and stretch marks. I have a dark skin. I have a big nose, a wide forehead and unruly eye brows. I have tons of imperfections. And yes, sometimes I feel bad about myself. Sometimes I cry because other people don't accept me for who I am. 

But I have learned that I have to accept myself first before other people accept me.

I have a lot of bad experiences with it comes to my imperfections. People judged me because of how I look. In this cruel world, people look on the outside rather than looking on the inside. It's sad. But that's reality. I guess.

I have been bullied a lot of times. People treated me differently. But those, I think are making me stronger.

Growing up. I really had a hard time loving myself. I push people away because I don't think I'm enough. 

I pulled myself down. I let people affect me. I let them hurt me. I let them get into me. I allowed them to push me down. 

BUT not anymore. I can safely say that I love myself more now. 

I am learning to accept myself more. I believe in myself.And I know that what's important is not my weight or skin or face.

 What's inside your heart is more important. 

I still cry. I still feel bad, sometimes. But what keeps me going is of course, my God.

Prayers works wonders.I gain my confidence from Him. 

I know a lot of us have that. Insecurities or doubt. It's okay. But don't ever let people step down on you or push you down.

Take those as challenges. Challenges for you to make yourself better. 

NOT for other people. but for yourself. ♥

Do not let your insecurities eat you up. Remember, you're bigger than them. 

Just believe in yourself and continue being you. 

 

 

Random : All about my Lipsticks [ Lipstick collection, Favorite lipstick and Lipstick Tag ]

As you guys already know, I am a huge lipstick fan! At first, it wasn't my thing. I was okay with a powder and blush, but then I discovered lipsticks. And holy macaroni!! I think it is one of the most beautiful thing ever created! They make me happy. Every time I feel down, I put them all out and swatch them all over and over again. ( LOL. Weird?! ) I don't really understand why, but it makes me feel better. Being an "impulsive" buyer, I was more on the quantity than the quality. But I have a learned a lot that's why I am planning on investing on products with better quality ( even if it's expensive. YES! ) 

A month ago, I asked on FB if you guys recommend a fun tag that I should do. And Miss Nicole Paler of Axons and Dendrites recommended me this tag that she saw on KIKAYSIMARIA's blog. I think it's really a fun tag, and it's so me! So, I am doing it now! ♥

As of the moment, I have 34 lipsticks/lip tints on hand. I haven't used all of them, well 80 percent of them. NOT EVEN ONCE! Bad?! I know! And I also am aware that a lot of you or other bloggers have more lipsticks than I do, and they have better quality ones. 1. When you were a child, did you use your mother's lipsticks?

My mom do not use any makeup at all. But my aunts told me that when I was a kid I will always, ALWAYS raid their bags and get their lipsticks. 

2. How old were you when you bought your first lipstick?

I thik I was 16 or 17. It all started when EB had their Php99.00 sale on their matte lipsticks. :P 

 

3. Pink or red lipstick?

Pink. BRIGHT PINK!

4. The most expensive lipstick you have ever bought?    

As of the moment, i think it's the Revlon Matte Lipstick. It cost me Php 525.oo or something.

5.  And the cheapest?

The wet n' wild that I got for 88 or 99 pesos for 2. I got it from Kering-keri store, just for the sake of buying it. :P 

FYI: 

They are dark brown colors! :P 

6. What's the most bizarre thing you have ever done with a lipstick?

Hmm.. NONE, I think. :P I used some to practice my signature. Is that counted?!

7. If you had to recommend a lipstick, which brand would you recommend and why? 

Wide range of colors?! 

NYX Round Lipsticks! They have tons. 

But if you want to invest on some higher end products, MAC. :) 

Formulation?

I love Maybelline ColorSensational's formulation. And NYX's Matte Lipstick also. 

Long Wearing?

Loreal Infallible! And Maybelline ColorSensational is a bit long wearing too. 

8. Favorite PINK lipstick.

Maybelline Fifth Ave. Fuchsia and NYX Matte in Shocking Pink. 

9. Favorite NUDE. 

Revlon in Mauve it Over and EB's Mauvey.

Random : If I could only wear one makeup look....

... this is what I would wear. ♥

If only I could wear one makeup look for the rest of my life, I would totally go for my favorite gold-purple-brown combination. I just love how pretty the purple looks with gold. I wear this almost all the time whenever I got to parties or special family occasions. I just love it. :) 

It is super easy and not overwhelming at all. I think it looks great and classy at the same time. I wore this look on birthdays, last Christmas, baptism and weddings. 

And of course, I love wearing it with my bright pink lipstick. Some might think that it's a bit too much. But it's actually not. :) I really love how they look so perfect together. ♥

So, that is my super duper favorite makeup look that is very wearable on events and special occasions. :) The combination of gold and purple is simply gorgeous! I am in love with those colors when it comes to makeup looks. And of course, my "signature" bright lips. I love bright lipsticks if you guys noticed. :D
