Day 2 - 20 of my favorite things.

I have TONS of favorites. But these things I will be showing you guys are randomly selected, which means I didn't thought about them. hehe. I listed them randomly. :)

1. CHEESE - I am obsessed! I love cheese basically in any food! LOL

2. BAGS - I am more of a bag person than shoes. I don't know why but I am more interested in bags than anything else, except makeup. :P 

3. LIPSTICKS - Ya'll knows that already! hehe. I am inlove with lipsticks. They are awesome!

4. YAKULT - Who doesn't love yakult?! If only there's like a HUGE bottle of yakult, I would love that. 

5. MY LIPS - haha! I love my lips! I think its the only part of my face that I am really happy about. haha

6. INSTAGRAM - I can stalk a person for hours on Instagram. My phone isn't working, so no Instagram for days now. BOOOO!!!

7. YELLOW - Anything yellow, it screams my name. Yellow is my favorite FAVORITE color. I love it!

8. SEDUCE - I love this scent from Zen Zest. Its' my go to/ every day perfume. I am obsessed with this scent that what I have now is my 3rd or 4th bottle already. 

9. COOKING - I am not an expert but I love doing it. I think people saying how GOOD and delicious the food you cooked is the most rewarding feeling of all time. 

10. PIZZA - Need I say more?! LOL I love food! And pizza, is crazy amazing!

11. CHOCOLATES - Oh yeah! I don't think I still need to explain this. haha I have a bad sweet tooth. I love anything sweet. It runs in the family actually. And chocolates are the bomb! 

12. CHRISTMAS - My favorite "season" ever! I love it more than my own birthday. I love how busy we get and how festive it feels. I am excited! 

13. SUNSET - I think it is the most amazing view ever. I love looking st sunset because it looks so beautiful, and so paradise-y. 

14. SALE - Come on! Who does not want sale!? TELL ME! :)

15. TIGERS - Aren't they the cutest?! hehe I love tigers just because. I think they are super tough at the outside, but they can be very soft on the inside. 

16. CARMEX - Oh hellooo! My HG lip balm ever! I think it's the best. It works so good on me, and I love it. 

17. JOHN LLOYD CRUZ - My bebe! I loove him to death! hahaha He's my favorite actor because he's so cute and soooo good at what he's doing. 

18. CHUCHAY - My very own baby girl is one of my favorites also. She makes me happy. I love her a lot! 

19. MATHEA and DAMON - My baby sister and brother. They are so precious. They are both handfuls, BUT they are our family's joy. Their innocence and crazy silly acts are the best. I love kids. And I love these 2, to the moon and back. ♥

20. All about being Glam - My blog! AH! I love blogging. And this blog is one of the few things I am proud of. I do what I want and I am happy with it. It is something I can call my own. :) 

 My blog and of course, my precious and oh so supportive readers are some of the few things I treasure the most. ♥

Review : NYX Round Lipsticks.

WARNING: PHOTO HEAVY post ]  

Hey! I was out the whole day, that is why I am making this post just now. So, I will go straight to the main "purpose" of the post now. :)

If you have been following me for quite some time now. You already know how I adore lipsticks. As I have mentioned on my Lipstick Tag post, I own 34 lippies as of the moment. 15 of them are from NYX Cosmetics' Round Lipsticks. I have quite a lot of it because I was overwhelmed on how cheap it is and how beautiful the colors are. I just cant help myself. LOL.

NYX Round Lipsticks. 

I got it last year for Php 100.00 each but I had to wait for more than a month. I forgot where though. It was from an online shop but I seriously forgot the name. But Kering-keri Store sells them for PHp 130.00 each, on hand. CHECK THE STORE NOW! 

HERE ARE THE SHADES I OWN. [ not in particular order. ]

I actually got a lot of pink shades because I want to "play" safe. I wanted to have wearable shades so that my money won't go to waste. BUT honestly, I don't really use them a lot. Why?! Read on! 

I like how simple and chic the packaging is. It is a simple black tube but the "designs" around the brand name and the fonts used added some fun vibe to it. 

What you see on the bottom is also the color you get. [ in most of the shades. ]

You can also see the ingredients list and other important infos on the side of the tube. 

And then you can see the shade and the weight on the top of the lid.

The finish of the lipsticks aren't matte. But it isn't too glossy as well. They are very creamy but not all of them are pigmented enough for my super pigmented lips. :D

PROS. 

-- They have a wide range of colors that you can choose from. Nudes to Pinks and Reds. 

-- It is very creamy. So, it glides on smoothly on the lips. 

Good pigmentation. I do think that the pigmentation is quite good. Especially the darker shades. 

-- Its cheap! I got it for 100. And I have seen online shops selling it for 130 -150 pesos.

-- I like the packaging. Very simple but not too dull. I thinks it looks so chic. And also, it won't eat up tons of space inside your kit. 

-- I think they smell really nice. For me, they do smell like candies. That might be an issu for others but not for me. :)

CONS

-- They melt easily! Especially in the kind of weather we have. A lot of them that I own are broken already because of the heat. I think they are really made for cold countries. 

-- Some aren't that pigmented. 

-- The lasting power isn't that long. It will fade after 2-3 hours.  And I don't like that I need to keep on retouching it.

-- They are not moisturizing at all. BUT isn't that drying as well. 

-- Sometimes I don't like the creaminess of it. Some shades tend to look super thick after 2 or more coats. 
UPDATE: For others it smells and taste like soap. I don't know why it smells like candy for me. hehe. But I agree that it taste like soap.

Here are the TOP 5 shades that I love the most. 

[ lip swatches ]

Fire, Thalia, Spellbound, Hero and Paris. 

If you guys notices, my upper lip is really dark. I do not smoke or anything. But it is like that ever since I was a kid. That's why I cannot really wear sheer lipsticks or whatever. :) 

I also like and recommend Hermes, Fig, Louisiana and Pink Lyric.

Will I repurchase?!

I don't think I need more from the brand/line. I have been meaning to buy lipsticks with BETTER quality and lipsticks that I can really use. 

Will I recommend?!

YES! I think it is perfect for every day use. If you want a huge selection of colors, definitely check this out! 

Overall, I like them. They make me happy!

I have said that I will buy BETTER quality lippies but I didn't say that there are bad ones. I was just saying that I know there are a lot more better ones out there. But overall, for the price, quality and color selection. THUMBS UP! ♥

Review : Maybelline ColorSensational Lipcolor

If you guys don't know yet, I am a obsessed with lipsticks. I love them! I don't know but they are the ones that I cannot take to not buy. You might find it crazy but they make me happy. Every time I feel sad or depress, I will take them all out and just do random things with them. Weird, huh? :) 

I love lipsticks especially bright ones. I love bright pinks in general! I am not a huge fan of red. I like bright pinks than red colored ones. I used to wear my NYX Matte Lipstick in Shocking Pink. I loved it, and I still do. But I was in a search of a different type of bright pink. And then I saw Miss Martha of the Beauty Junkee 's post about a FUCHSIA lipstick. When I first saw the color on her, I knew then and there that I need to buy one ASAP. So, I did. A few days after I saw her post, I bought it! [ HAUL HERE ] And I am lovin' it since the day I got it.

I am really obsessed with this lipstick. I use it almost every day! I just love it. ♥ 

 It also have this scent that I can't get enough of! I don't know exactly how to describe it. But it smells yummy. And it reminds me of some kind of food or whatever. I don't know. But I love the smell! 

 It is in the shade of FIFTH AVE. FUCHSIA. It is a gorgeous fuchsia color that I love to wear on daytime and even on night time. I really think it's a gorgeous color, perfect for everyday. 

I got it for Php 399.75 from SM Mall of Asia Dept. Store, Watsons.

It comes on a silver-y steel type with an acrylic, plastic-y cover. I think it looks chic. I have never owned any lipstick from them before. But I have seen some already. And I think the packaging of this lipstick is way better than the other ones. It is lightweight but it doesn't look cheap.  

I can say that it is true to its color. What you see inside the tube is what you get. It really is a gorgeous color. I love iiiit! ♥ I do! I DO! 

WHY?! Here are the PROS and maybe, CONS :) 

PROS

-- It is long lasting! It really is. You cannot wipe it off easily cause it will stain your lips. 

-- It has a scent that I can't get enough of. I love it!

-- It isn't TOO matte but I love it cause it isn't TOO shiny as well. 

-- I love the packaging! It doesn't look cheap at all. ad it is very lightweight. 

-- It isn't drying at all!

-- It glides on to your lips smoothly cause of its creamy feel. 

-- It is pigmented enough to cover up my dark upper lip.

-- It does what it claims to do! LOVE IT! 

-- It has a lot of product in it! For the price, its a lot!

-- It is available almost everywhere! You can find it i any Maybelline counters nationwide. 

-- It isn't cheap but not expensive as well. For Php 399.75, it is worth it! ♥

CONS

-- I don't like that they put the price tag on the cap. I hate it when they do it! Once you remove the tag, it will feel sticky. 

-- Besides that, I cannot think of anything else. 

Will I repurchase? 

ABSOLUTELY! If ever I run out of product, I will! 

I am also planning on buying some other colors. But not anytime soon cause I am on a ban. :P [ no buying of makeup month ] 

 Will I recommend? 

YES! You guys should try it. It will look good on girls with morena or darker skin tone, I think. It might look a bit TOO bright for people with fair skin. But you can try it and see if you like it too. It's a perfect fuchsia color. No undertones or whatsoever. PERFECT! 

Overall, I LOVE IT! I absolutely am in love with this product. I use it almost every single day. It is a perfect upper-lifter. It's so pretty that it will brighten up your whole face, your whole aura. ♥

Review: NYX Xtreme Lip Cream

More than a week ago, I ordered some stuffs from Skye Avenue. [ haul HERE ]

And Ate Dee, the owner, was super nice to give me a few items to review. She gave me this NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz. I haven't tried this yet but the SMLC I have. And I loved it. So, I was super excited when I got this. 

For those of you who haven't heard about NYX. It is a drugstore cosmetic brand from the US that carries lipsticks, blushes up to eye shadows. They have almost every kind of makeup. I am not sure if we have NYX stores locally, but you won't have a hard time finding their products because they are all over the internet. This brand, I think, is one of the MOST famous cosmetic brand that a LOT of online shops sell nowadays. 

Anyways,the product look like this. It looks like a teeny tiny lip gloss, huh?! :) 

"Beautify your lips with this velvety rich lip cream that provides extreme pigmentation with a silky and glossy finish. This lip cream is a hybrid of lipstick, lip gloss and lip stain with intense pigmentation all in one. "

It's not a gloss, nor a lipstick. I like it! :) 

The packaging looks cute and chic. I love how it perfectly fits my purse or the pockets of my bag. It can even fit inside the pocket of my jeans. Its super cute! :) 

And just like any other lip gloss, it comes with the sponge tip applicator. 

I got the shade NUDE PEACH FUZZ. And I think it really is true to its name! Its has a great color pay off.

I like it, but I don't love it. Lemme show you the PROS and CONS. :)

PROS.

* The consistency is thick. BUT it doesn't feel thick when you apply it. And I LOVE that about this product. ♥

* It isn't TOO glossy or shiny. It just have the perfect amount of shine. ♥

* It has a great pigmentation! ♥

* It is super cute. It fits my purse perfectly. It is small enough to even fit in my pocket. ♥

* It isn't drying. Well, I wear my Carmex lipbalm before I apply it though. 

* It makes my lips look fuller and thicker... and plumper. [ I like it.. but I don't sometimes. :P ] ♥

* It is affordable. ♥ 

CONS

* It has this weird scent. It reminds me of the clay that I love to play with when I was a kid. hehe

* It doesn't compliment my morena skin because I think I look darker every time I wear it. 

* It doesn't really last that long. After 2-3 hours, it's gone. 

Will I recommend?

Yes. It isn't a must have though. But it is a great addition in mine and your makeup stash as well. :) If you don't like it super shiny or super matte, this is perfect for you! 

Will I repurchase?

Yes. But not the same shade. I would love to try the pink and red ones.

I like it, but I don't love it. I hated didn't like it during the first few times I used it, but I am starting to appreciate it more now. :) 

I would love to try some other shades, though. I think it's just the shade that I don't like that much.

Online Shopping Haul [ JULY ]

Haul Time! hehe This past few weeks I have been avoiding the mall and online stores cause I am saving up for a few stuffs that I really want to have. I have been saving up for NAKED palette, SIGMA brush sets, MAC lipsticks and maaaany more! :) I have a goal e! hehe 

BUT, last week when I got home. I signed in to fb and the very first thing I saw was Ate Dee's / Skye Avenue's post. 

Php 500.00 OFF for a minimum purchase of 1000 pesos??!! That's such a steal! Multiply's Discount Frenzy was going on that time, and it only lasted for 30 minutes. 

So, I clicked the link and without thinking twice I bought some stuffs. hehe 

Oh and the internet was acting up that time, and I was starting to panic and all. It is crazy! I even tweeted Ate Dee asking how many time was left cause I was having a hard time with the connection and I was afraid that I won't be able to use the code. hehe 

Anyways, so I ordered Wednesday. Then I paid on Friday and got my package today, Monday. I wasn't expecting it to arrive today. So, I am a happy camper! :) 

The products were sealed nicely. I am impressed! I love that it was wrapped to assure that I will get the items without any damage.

my RED lipsticks.

I am not a big fan of RED lipsticks. I am more of a pink and nude kind of girl. Maybe because most of the time I just want to keep everything simple. I thought RED is too much. I wasn't sure on how to pull it off. But as I explore more and discover more, I realized that every time I wear bright colored lipsticks, especially red ones, I feel more energized. It makes me feel more alive and more beautiful. It really brightens my mood. I also like wearing my red lipsticks when I feel lazy. :D I'll just put my foundation on then mascara. And then bright lipstick, I'M DONE! :) 

Red lipstick is like the LBD. It is a MUST-HAVE in every girls makeup stash. 

Here are the 6 RED lipsticks that I own. ♥ 

L-R Loreal Infallibe Lip Color in Beyonce's Red , Ever Bilena Matte lipstick in Scarlet, Ever Bilena Matte lipstick in Love that Red, NYX Round Lipstick in Snow White, NYX Round lipstick in Hero and Ever Bilena Pro Longwear lipstick in Eager

I don't use all of them because I don't think that all of them look good on me. 

Looking for the perfect shade of red for your skin tone is actually trial and error. 

NOT BECAUSE IT LOOK GOOD ON OTHER PEOPLE, DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT WILL ALSO LOOK GOOD ON YOU.

Knowing your skin tone is a huge help in looking for the right shade of red that will suit you. ♥

Hand Swatches

1 and 2.  NYX RLS in Hero and Snow White - NYX's RLS are so creamy. Hero is obviously lighter than Snow White. I think that this is shade is a perfect RED. I mean I am not sure of the undertone or whatever but whenever I see this color, I know it is red. [ I hope you guys get that. hehe ]

Snow White is pretty! It is darker than the previous one but it really add a statement to your look. It is perfect for night outs and formal events. It looks fine on me as well. Not good, not bad. :)

 

3. EB Pro Longwear lipstick in Eager - I find this lipstick a bit drying than the Matte ones. I don't know why but I like the Matte ones better. I used it once so I can't review it that much. But it is a gorgeous red with a pink undertone. It kinda looks a bit fuchsia on the picture.

4 and 5. EB Matte Lipsticks in Love that Red and Scarlet - Love that Red is my favorite out of the bunch. It is a gorgeous red with a little bit of blue undertone. Its not too dark and not too RED as well. I love it. I think it really compliments my skin tone. 

Scarlet - It is an orange-y kind of red. It makes me look a bit darker than my skintone so I don't use it as much. I used it during the summer time and I think its perfect. 

EB matte lippies are a bit drying, but with a good lip balm... PERFECT! ♥

6. Loreal Infallible lip color in Beyonce's Red - I think this color is the perfect definition for the word, RED! It is RED! The color is bright and gorgeous! Every time I wear it, people will lokk at me and they are like.... WHOA! hehe.

It is gorgeous! I love how it is long lasting and kiss proof! :) It won't go anywhere, I promise! It is a bit drying that's why you need to keep on applying the lip balm. 

It will flake when you use another lip balm or any other oil based product. Even if you eat oily foods, you will see it flake. But I love the packaging and everything else! :) 

You need to have the confidence to wear this color cause it is really a statement color.

So, those are my RED lippies. I don't own a lot but I want to try out a lot more red shades. Especially the darker ones. I really think it looks better on me than the lighter, orange-y ones. :)

Just one quick tip. :) In wearing RED or any bright colored lipstick, make sure to NOT overdo it. If you want to wear red lips for the day, make sure that you put just a minimal amount of blush and eyeshadow. You don't want to look like a clown, do you? :)
