Pillow Time : It's a girl thing.

Last week I have read somewhere the question...

Why do girls cut their hair whenever they are heartbroken?!?
[ Bakit nagpapagupit ang mga babae kapag heartbroken?! ]

And I can pretty much relate to it. LOL
And I thought about it, and I can't help but laugh at myself. I was once in that situation. I did it for a few reasons. I won't be sharing all of it. But I will share one. :)

But first I want to show you guys my hair BEFORE cutting it.

The photo was taken the day we broke up. It was Saturday, I believe.

And then Monday, I felt the need to cut it short.
I have never had a haircut for more than 3 years before this.
People thought I was crazy. LOL They knew though that I am going through something.

I think the reason is we just want to embrace the change.I myself did it to show the change I was going through. I want to embrace it and start anew.
Our hair is one of the MOST important part of our body, for me. It isn't just a body part, it is part of our lives.

I had that long hair for more than 3 years. In that 3 years a LOT of things happened. Happy and sad. And my hair was a witness. She [ my hair ] witnessed me on top, and also when I was rock bottom. So, when that big change happened. I was devastated. And I think letting go of some part of my hair is also letting go of the past. I felt better after that. :)
I never regret it. ♥

I know this is such a short post. But I just want to share this with you guys. :)
Have you guys experienced cutting your hair for a huge change?! Break up or anything?!
