FAVORITES: June 2o12

I cannot believe that June is almost over! Its so surreal how fast time flies! It is crazy, right?
But well, July is fast approaching and I can't wait for the many things that will be happening for the next few months. :) More blog posts, more new friends, and more giveaways! ;) hehe

Anyways, June is about to end and I figured that it will be fun to share with you the things I'm currently LOVING. :) There are a few stuffs that I'll be sharing with you guys that probably you already heard from me...well, most of them actually. hehe

Well enough of the talking, let's get started! ♥

1. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff...and it's all small stuff book by Richard Carlson

This book, is amazing! One of the best inspirational book out there. I love this book. It made my outlook in life so much better. I RECOMMEND IT! ♥
I will be posting a few chapters and insights on this book on my other blog. :) [ You can click the LIFE tab up there! ]

2. Victoria's Secret Hydrating Body Lotion in Love Spell and Refreshing Body Mist in Love Spell

These products smells GOOD! I am not good in describing smell, but it says here that it has, Cherry Blossom, Peach and White Jasmine. It smells sweet, but not too sweet. It has this flower-y + fruit-y smell that isn't too nauseating or something. I don't personally like flower scented cologne, I am more on the fruity sweet side. But this one, is really good! :)

The lotion I use it at night, and I love how my body smells after I put it on. And the cologne smells the same, I use it when it's hot outside, cause it makes me smell really fresh. :)

3. Tea Tree Water toner from Lush

This is so refreshing on the skin. I use this before I put makeup on and after I wash my face at night.
My in depth review on this product soon. :)

4. Loreal Hydrafresh Anti Shine Gel

I have been using this product for a year now. This is my 3rd jar of it and I think that only show how much LOVE I have for this product. :)
I have an oily skin and that sucks. But this product helps my face feel refreshed and moisturized. I love that it has this minty cool feel when you apply it. And it doesn't make your face more oily through out the day. I love it! :)

5 Ever Bilena Advance 3D Compact Powder in Dark Baked Fusion

This surprised me. When I started using makeup, I used to use EB products. And they just broke me out or made my face look EXTRA oily. I bought this product a few months ago but haven't used it since this month. I started using this and my Fanny Serrano foundation again when I ran out of my MAC SF. I didn't buy a new MAC because I want to use the products I have instead of buying.
And this stuff is good. I like it. It sets my cream foundation really well and so far, I'm not experiencing any breakouts from this. So far, so good! :)

6 Krave's Oil Eliminator and Skin Hydrator

This is amazing! I LOVE love this product!
When I first got it, I wasn't expecting so much from it, but when I get to try it. AAH! I was like, "They are all super right!"  hehe
People has been RAVING about this product and well, I will also! SOON! hehe :)

7 ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder

I love this product soooo much! I have been using it for years and I still love it.
I only use the bronzer though, I use it to contour. I don't know why I haven't use the blush one yet.
Review, soon! :)

Nichido GNO eyeliner in Deep blonde [ for my eyebrows ]

I own this stuff for a couple of months now but I haven't really used it. I just don't like how brown liners don't really make any difference on my eyes. But I started using this for filling my eyebrows with the help of my IN2IT eyebrow colour.
It makes filling my eyebrows easier for me. :)

9 IN2IT Waterproof Gel Liner in very black

I am obsessed with this baby! ENOUGH SAID! ♥
Review here!

10 Loreal Voluminous False Lashes Mascara

I heard about this from ItsJudyTime and she raved about it. So when I saw it on the bazaar last month, I didn't think twice and I bought it. And it didn't disappointed me. I love this so much! It really is an amazing mascara.
I will be reviewing this as well, soon. :)

11 ELF Professional Powder brush

I love this brush! I use this to apply my cream foundation, my blush and to set my face with powder. Its a multi functional brush which is super sturdy and super amazing. It is very affordable, and I love it! :)

12 FX Heat Memory Flat Iron Spray

This product helps flat ironing easier! I love how smooth it  makes my hair. And how it leaves my hair shiny after I iron it. It also holds my hair in place through out the day.
I might review this also. hehe :)

13 Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I will review this and talk about this more in the coming days, But I use this product as a makeup remover and for exfoliation at the same time. This product can be used for dry skin and a lot more! :)

14 Earrings from the Superb Bazaar

I have been using this a lot this past month. I love how simple but classy it looks.
I got it for 75 pesos from the bazaar I went to last May. Its just gorgeous. :)

15 Carmex Lip Balm [ which I reviewed here ]
I forgot to take a photo of it. hehe sorry!

So those are my favorites for the month of June! ♥
And thank you guys so much, especially to those people who really reads and supports my blog and my fb page. I love talking and meeting new people, so if you feel like talking don't hesitate to approach me. :) THANKS GUYS! Please continue supporting ans sharing my blog to everyone! ♥

TAG: Trail of Kindness

WHAT IT IS:
-A way to show the power of kind words and how strong they can be
-Strengthen Positive community
-A way to encourage each other with kindness and positivity
-Brighten a friends day
-Positive words can leave a trail that can be traced back but also continues to move forward and engage and connect with others

HOW IT WORKS:
1) If you are the person that I choose to shower with positivity, kind words, encouragement then you will be encouraged to pay this kindness forward

2) You make a blog post explaining "What this tag is"

3) You pick your person you want to "shower" with kindness. Pick 1 - 2 persons/blog.

4) You talk about your chosen person and what you admire about them, why they inspire you, give them words of encouragement, kindness, positivity

5) Then you encourage that person to continue the Trail of Kindness Tag and choose someone to "pay it forward" to with positive words.

6) List who chose you and also who you choose. That way we can easily follow the trail forward and back =)

7) Make sure you copy everything that explains this tag and paste it into YOUR post as well.
P.S. If you feel like starting your own trail of kindness, then I encourage you to go ahead and start your own trail :)
A couple of months ago, I saw this tag on you tube and I think it was a pretty awesome idea. :)
Every body loves receiving compliments or just anything positive that other people say to them. But sometimes, we don't really show or tell other people how much we appreciate them, or how good they are. We are hesitant to say what we feel even if the things we want to say are good.
We forget that those people, a lot of people needs or wants to hear positive things about them as much as we do.

So, this tag is basically about sharing positivity to one another, and just spreading kindness.
I think this is a perfect way to start a more positive "blogging" community. :)
I am not sure if this tag already happened on blogger or not. But no matter what, I want to start this trail to add positivity to everyone! :)
There are a few people that I want to choose for this tag, but I am tagging Micmic's Corner  [ her blog here ]
and the one that really inspired me to blog, Makeup by Say Tioco Artillero [ her blog here ]

Miss Michelle Magramo of Micmic's Corner is my first ever "ate" from the blogging community. She is so nice and so supportive. I am new to blogging but she is welcoming me warmly. I appreciate all the kind words and the nice things she always tell me. She encourages me to just do whatever I want to do. We don't know each other personally, yet. But I would love to get to know her better. :)
She is just super nice and super genuine.
I asked her if I can call her ate and she agreed even if we don't know a lot about each other yet.
She have a dog as well. And we have the same names too! ♥
Ate just continue doing what you're doing. And I hope we could get to know each other more. :)  Thanks for being so nice and supportive. It really means a lot to me. Continue being nice to every one and just being who you are. :) Thanks for all the encouragement! Keep up what you're doing. And as you said, Dreams do come true! ♥

If anyone of you isn't a subscriber or follower of her blog. Go follow her! She has a nice blog. :) And she is a nice person!

And Miss Say, the famous saytiocoartillero in youtube.
I think a lot of you already know her because she's amazing. I believe she started as a blogger as well, and look at where she is now. :)
She really is my inspiration why I started blogging. She is awesome and super nice. And she's so down to earth. She achieved a lot already but still, she remains the same.
I love how dedicated she is on doing the thing she like. I just admire her for being who she is.
I would love to meet her and maybe, be friends with her. ♥
Ate Say, a lot of people admire you for who you are and for what you achieved. Please don't stop inspiring people. And continue being nice to everyone. Thanks for inspiring me to do what I want to do. Keep it up! And I'm so happy for all the blessing that are coming you're way. ♥

If anyone of you isn't a subscriber or follower of her, which I DOUBT! :) Go follow her! She's awesome!

To the both of you, please continue this trail of kindness I started. Its a small thing but it'll mean a lot to me, and to the person/people you guys will be choosing. :)
Let's start spreading positivity and kindness to this community. ♥

FOTD: Purple-y smokey eyes.

Today was a pretty chill day. I didn't do anything so productive hehe. So,when I woke up this afternoon, I have decided to put some make up on and just take pictures. I just feel good today. hehe. :) So, that's what I did. And then I thought, why not blog about it?! hehe That the most amazing idea I had today. hehe

So, I will share with you guys some photos I took. And basically, the stuffs I used. :)
Some of the products, I pretty much use every day or whenever I am not too lazy. hehe

I look weird here. :D

This make-up look isn't too boring and not too extravagant as well. You can wear it everyday or for special occasions. I first wore it last new years eve and I LOVED IT! I am more into neutrals and browns rather than colorful eye shadows.
I just started putting on eye shadows and eye stuffs late last year and I know I still have to learn a LOT. :)

So here are the products I used for this look.

For prepping up my face, I used:
*Tea Tree Water toner from Lush

*Marrionnaud N32 blush brush from Watsons

For my eyes, I used:
*In2it eye brow color from Watsons [ eye brows ]
*Nichido GNO eye pencil in Deep Blonde from Watsons [ eye brow ]
*ELF lid primer from Watsons
*NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk from an online shop
*ELF brown eye trio [ the champagne-y one ] from Watsons
*Dollface 88 Earth Color Palette [ dark purple-y brown-sh and the bright purple one ] from Dollface Cosmetics
*In2it waterproof gel liner in very black from Watsons [ review HERE ]
*Loreal Voluminous False Lashes from an online shop
*ELF lash curler from Watsons
*ELF blending brush from Watsons
*Fashion 21 blending brush from Watsons

*Carmex lip balm from Landmark [ review HERE ]
*Ever Bilena Matte lipstick in Mauvey from Watsons [ blogged about this and 2 other lipsticks HERE

That's a lot of products there! hehe. But yeah, it is what it is. :)
It's a simple but gorgeous make up look that I really love. And it is easy to do, as well!

Here is another photo I took. This time I am with my baby, and she's all camera shy. hehe

I hope you guys liked it. If you want me to review any of the products, just comment below. ♥
THANKS for reading!

REVIEW: In2it waterproof gel liner

" A smooth and soft gel liner, that glides onto the skin. The pencil shape gives balance making it easier to hold and apply. Quick drying, waterproof, and super long wearing. No running, no smudging, no panda eyes, no fragrance. Easy to apply and remove. "[ read it here ]
I have heard about this from a friend. She LOVES this product so much! So, I wanted to try it for myself to see why she's HEAD OVER HEELS about this product. :)

Whenever I go to Watsons, In2it never interest me. I only have 1 product from them before I purchased this. I am using their eyebrow colour since the very start. My cousin recommended it because she's using it and she loved it. Well, its still the only eyebrow kit I use ever since, I think it is pretty good. ANYHOO, back to the topic! hehe
I went to Watsons a few weeks ago to pick up some stuff [ haul here ] and this baby! :) I was super excited to try it. And it's my very first gel liner, ever!

The packaging looks like this:  HERE
It comes with a small sharpener. And the box is pretty cute. I love it! :)
I think they have a few more beautiful colors, but I didn't bother exploring it cause I don't want to spend more on whatever stuffs. hehe But I believe they have it in some purple-y color and a brown one. Thos are the colors I am pretty sure of.

For the packaging and the physical appearance of the pencil itself, I will give it...
 ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ [ 5 HEARTS! ]

I got the one in the color "very black" cause I only use black liners, as of the moment. But i want to try the brown one too.

It is a waterproof GEL liner. A gel liner in a pencil form??! I LOVE! hehe I can't line my eyes perfectly that's why I don't use gel or liquid liners before. I only use pencil liners. So, I was really excited to try this out when I found out that it is a gel liner. Plus, its waterproof!

The consistency is very creamy! It really glides on super smoothly! I love that about this baby!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ [ 5 HEARTS ]

I can't say enough good things about the consistency of the product. It helped me line my eyes easily and it's perfect for me! I just really love it! :)

The product claims to be:
* Quick drying, waterproof and super long wearing.
*No running, no smudging, no panda eyes, no fragrance.
*Easy to apply and remove

I agree that the product is quick drying, waterproof and super long wearing. It doesn't run or smudge as well! No panda eyes and no fragrance. And yes, it is easy to apply

BUT it isn't easy to remove.
If you don't use any makeup remover before washing your face, you'll still see the liner on your eyes and well, you'll have a super panda eyes. hehe
I use EVOO ( extra virgin olive oil ) as a makeup remover that's why I can remove this stuff easily. I think that's the only down side, well not that you cannot do anything about it. :) Just use a makeup remover to remove it, then you're good to go!

~

I also love the texture of it. It is matte but not boring kind of matte. And I LOVE matte. :)
So, for the texture ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ [ 5 HEARTS ]

I got this liner in Watsons Mall of Asia for Php 379.75. You can find this at any In2it counter in Watsons or SM Department stores and in Robinsons, I believe. :)
The price and the availability gets ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ [ 5 HEARTS ] as well!

I definitely recommend this to everyone! It is a very affordable and the quality is amazing! :) ♥
I LOVE IT!

my top 3 lippies.

I am a sucker for lipsticks! I don't know why but every time I see lipsticks, I feel like I'm in heaven! :) ♥ It's crazy how seeing lipsticks can make my heart so happy.

I have a few lipsticks from Loreal, NYX, Revlon and a few other drugstore brands. I can't afford the high end ones yet BUT those are on top of my list. :) My goal is to have at least one MAC lipstick before this year end. I still have 6 months! hehe

So, I want to share to you guys the 3 lipsticks I LOVE the most.  ♥

YEP! They are all matte lipsticks. I don't know but I'm not really a fan of the glossy ones. I love them matte! ♥

1. NYX Matte Lipstick in Shocking Pink
I got ithis fom Kering- keri store last year for Php 285. But I believe Eunice sells NYX Matte Lipsticks now for Php 250! For all matte lipstick lovers out there, this lipstick is a must have! ♥
I already raved about this product here http://allaboutbeingglam.blogspot.com/2012/06/nyx-matte-lipstick.html .
And visit Kering-keri store's page here https://www.facebook.com/keringkeri.store .

2. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Matte in Mauve it Over.
You can find this on any Revlon counters. I got mine from Watsons in Mall of Asia for Php 535-ish ( im not really sure ).
It is a must have matte NUDE color! I have some kind of attraction to nude colors as well! ♥
I will review this on some other post, if you guys want. :)

3. Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey
I bought my first ever tube of this product during EB's P99 sale last year. And since then I've been using it all the time! This lipstick started my love affair with nude colors. ♥ I believe they sell this for Php 140.00 in any Ever Bilena counter. :)

Aren't they gorgeous? AH! I love them! ♥ I can't say enough good things about these 3 products. :) You can leave them matte or you can also put some gloss over it to make it look shiny and pretty! :) I love the colors. The bright pink and nudes are just my favorites. ♥
I would definitely recommend these 3 lipsticks to all the kikays out there! :)
And yes, these lipsticks are worth every penny. ♥
