September Lovin' : Fall 2012 Makeup Look

WARNING : Sort of Long post. :P

Tonight's post is the 3rd and the last installment of my month long collaboration with 2 lovely people, Ate Michelle of Micmic's Corner and Iya of From nails to makeup.

It was such a fun experience! Getting to know these ladies more while doing our weekly makeup looks, talking about beauty and personal things as well. 

 The first week, we did a Disney Inspired look and it was challenging!  I am not really that creative or experimental especially with bold colors. But of course, these ladies helped me. I guess from us 3, Iya is the MOST creative one when it comes to colorful eye makeups. I loved her Jasmine Inspired look! Very JASMINE!   ♥

For our second week, we have decided to do the famous 500 Pesos Makeup Challenge. 

It was really challenging also because I have breakouts and I really need something that will offer good coverage. And it was really hard to come up with something "presentable" with a little amount of budget. This challenge  Ate Michelle showed that simplicity is really beauty. I love how simple her look is but it still looks classy. ♥

So for the last part of our collaboration. We have decided to do something very timely. We also wanted to do something classy but fun at the same time. Something you guys will remember.

So without further blabbing/stuttering/whatever-ing. 

Here is my Fall 2012 Makeup Look.   ♥

Smokey eyes are so in, as usual. But the difference this Fall, is the shades. You can use "unusual" colors of shadows like purple, blue and even green shades.

I personally don't really know how to "smoked" a look. But I tried. :P 

I used purple because I love purple on the eyes. It is gorgeous! I just love how purple looks so pretty, classy and elegant all the same time.

 If ever you're doing smokey looks, it is normal to use a nude shade of lipstick. 

But I chose not to because BRIGHT lips are also in this season. 

Bright red, bright pink and even bright orange. 
 Vampy lips are already a statement during Fall season. Wine red, or berry-ish colors. Gorgeous ones! But bright ones are so in too! 

For the face, I wanted to keep it simple. I contoured my face and used a little bit of blush.

Excuse this photo. It is a little bit too light because the lamp I was using was literally in front of my face. :P But I love this picture. Very model-ish. HAHAHA :P FEELINGERA!

I fell in love with the look. I think its something I can pull off. It is something different even without using too much colors. I think it is still on the safe side. 
But of course, I cannot NOT use my "signature" thing. A bright and bold lips. :)

 NUDE makeups are also in this season. 

Nude lips are so not me, but I look very nice/good girl, right?! haha It makes me look super quiet. 

I also tried the THICK BROWS because that is also in this Fall. Thick, well groomed brows and well defined brows. Mine isn't well groomed though. :P

FLUSHED cheeks or very vibrant colored cheeks are in also.

This collab we did made me get to know more of you girls. And I am really glad that I gained friends like you.

Ate, you're really nice and helpful and thoughtful and a lot more. I can spend the whole day talking to you because I learn a lot from you. You're so nice and so genuine.

Random : 20 Questions Tag

I was supposed to post a makeup look for our month long collaboration.But a few changes happened so, we'll just chillax for tonight. :) And while chillaxing, I still want to post something up so I google random tag questions to answer. And I found this one right HERE. So, that's what I will do! :)

1. Thing you cannot leave the house without?

Except the necessities, like wallet and so on. I cannot leave the house without a pack of tissue. That's the main thing! I cannot! I just can't. :P [ Blogged about it HERE ]
 

2. Favorite brand of makeup?

I love ELF. Their products are amazing and very affordable. I also love MAC, but that's a bit expensive. 

3. Favorite flower?

I like roses. But aren't tulips gorgeous?! They are so pretty! 

I love tulips.

4. Favorite clothing store?

I like to shop at Forever21. I also love to shop at Bayo. And of course, the Department Store. :) 

5. Favorite perfume ?

I don't really like perfume. Colognes are better and less expensive. 

But I do love Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea perfume and my Escada Marine Groove. 

6. Heels or flats?

FLATS. I buy some heels but I wear them like, once a year. :P 

7. Do you make good grades?

Now, OK grades. But when I was in grade school and high school, yes good grades!

8. Favorite colors?

YELLOW! I also love the basics, black and white.

9. Do you drink energy drinks?

NOPE.

10. Do you drink juice?

YES. I love Four Seasons juice. 

11. Do you like swimming?

Yes. But I don't know how to swim :P 

12. Do you eat fries with a fork?

No. Well, sometimes. Whenever we eat fries at restaurants, I do. Pasosyal. :P 

13. Favorite moisturizer?

Loreal Hydrafresh. 

14. Do you want to get married later on in life?

Yes. It's my dream. [ Blogged about it HERE ] 

15. Do you get mad easily?

Sometimes. Depend on the person. :P hahaha

16. Are you into ghost hunting?

NOOOO!!!!

17. Any phobias?

Yes! Fear of heights and rats. I want to conquer my fear of heights but not the latter. :P

18. Do you bite your nails?

When I was younger, YES. Now, no. 

19. Have you ever had a near death experience?

Yes. I had a seizure when I was about to undergo an ultrasound. The doctor said that why were waking me up but it lasted a few seconds. And they were scared cause a seizure is something serious. 

20. Do you drink coffee?

OH YES!!! :)  I loooooooooove coffee!

Day 26  What’s something you’re really excited for? 

 Right now?! I am really excited for Christmas! EEEK! 

This is my most favorite holiday ever! I love the Christmas feeling. I love receiving gifts. :P But most especially giving them. I just love the "holiday" feel. 

 I love Christmas more than my own birthday. I love how busy we all get and how festive it feels wherever you go.  

Next week, it is October already. 

[YES! INSANE! ] 

And the next thing we know it's already December. Time flies craaaazy fast this year. 

It feels like we just celebrated Christmas last week. REALLY!

Review : BeautyUK Palette in Soho

Hey awesome people! I am feeling sick again. But I really want to post some beauty related stuffs because I only have a few of that this month. So, I will start with this cute and colorful palette from BeautyUK.

If you haven't heard about BeautyUK yet, it is a famous drugstore brand that offers a wide variety of products for a very affordable price. Nowadays, there are tons of online shops here in our country that offers BeautyUK products.

I am a neutral kind of girl but I wanted to have at least a few colorful eye shadows in my collection. When I saw this, I really wanted to get it right away but I didn't. When I saw the Multiply Frenzy thing, I knew I needed to grab that chance to get my hands on these. 
So, I got 2 BeautyUK palettes, the Earth Child palette and this Soho one. I got it last July from Skye Avenue for Php 300.00 only.

I will review the BeautyUK Palette in No.2 Soho Bright first. :)

Here is how it looks like. 

At the back you can see the Ingredients and some other information. 

It contains 10 colorful eye shadow. It reminds me of water color! :P Super cute!
Some are semi matte and some has a little bit of shimmers on it. 
The size, I think is comparable to a 25 centavos. 
 

Here are the swatches. 

And here are my favorites out of the 10 shadows.

PROS ♥
--- Very affordable! Php 300 for 10 eye shadows is a pretty sweet deal. 
---  Good color pay off. What you see is the color you get. 
--- The eye shadows are soft and it is easily blendable. 
--- If used with a good primer, I think it will last pretty long. And also, if you use a base the colors will pop out more. 
--- The palette is small enough that it can fit any purse or even your kikay kit. It won't eat up tons of space. 
--- Even if it's small, it contains a lot of products. 

CONS
--- Contains  TALC and PARABENS. 
--- Not all eye shadows are that pigmented. I had high hopes with this product. But I was a little disappointed. But for its price, I think it is okay.
--- Some are really chalky/powdery. So you might experience fall outs. 
---  Without using a primer, it won't last that long. 
--- The shadows are soft that is why it can be easily broken. 
--- The packaging looks and feels cheap. The cover is made of cheap plastic thingy. 

TIP: 
I use a wet brush with this shadows that's why I don't experience that much fall outs. 
I also use an eye shadow base [ NYX JEP in Milk ] which helps the colors to pop out more. 

Will I recommend?
If you are a first timer, I think it is a good product that you can practice with. 
I love the colors. I love the variety of palettes. And I will recommend it for beginners. 

Will I repurchase?
No. I still have a lot of products left on the palette. And I would love to explore more on products with better quality. 

Overall, I think for its price and what it can offer. It is a pretty awesome palette.
It is a handy dandy palette that you can bring around and play around with.

Hi...

  I don't understand why you keep on talking sh*t about other people but you keep on letting every one know that you have the most perfect and happiest life ever. I don't think genuinely happy people act like that. If you're really happy with your life, why bother hurting other people's feelings. You're not better than anyone, remember that.

Also,you kept on telling me before how you "respect" people and all those fancy stuffs, but I don't think you know the meaning of RESPECT. 

You talk behind other people's back, you act like a child and post unnecessary stuffs in public. You discriminate just because you're not like them. 

Do not forget that being "blunt" or "frank" is different from being bastos and disrespectful.

How are you? I hope you're doing good. It has been more or less 3 months since the last time we talked. I still think about you every now and then, but I know I shouldn't anymore. I just want to say sorry. Sorry for breaking your heart. I just knew that we both needed it. 

It happened for a reason, I am sure of that. Do not let go of all your dreams. You're such a great man and you deserve all the happiness in life.

Please don't grow up so quick. You are a precious creature. And I love you with all my heart. You bring joy and happiness in my life when I needed it most.

You guys are angels in disguise. All the bad things you're saying to me are helping me grow more and be better. It's funny how you guys have enough time to read my posts and hate on. I feel sorry for you guys cause I know that you lack love in your life. You lack happiness. I understand why you're always hating on every thing I do. 

I hope I can share with every one the love and happiness I am getting from all these awesome people I met through this blog.

Day 24  Do you have saved text messages?  If so, who are they from and why do you still have them? 

 Saved?! NO! 

But I still have messages from my dad, mom, siblings, cousins and friends.

I still have them mainly because I am too busy and LAZY to delete them :P 

I used to! When I was in high school I used to save TONS of quotes and significant messages on my old phone. Messages from my closest friends, and crushes. :P 

I used to save all those in one folder and read them over and over again. :)
